Contemporay dance Platform

Contemporay dance Platform (2007) is intended for slovenian dancers and choreographers, working in the field of contemporary dance in the national and international area. Emphasis is given to those local artists that started dancing at Plesna izba Maribor and nowadays co-reate a working artistic network.

Platforma is the expression of conditions, present in the region. As a platform for artists it directly address professional and political conditions under which artist are working and creates conditions for artistic presentations (of performances and artists). Profesional public debates are raising a dialogue between artists and representatives of the local as well as of the national cultural policy.
